Government has appointed a new board for CAPS (PVT) Ltd with Nyaradzai Matondo, a pharmaceutical quality assurance specialist, leading the five-member board.
The appointment, announced by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, follows President Mnangagwa’s approval of the board in accordance with the Public Entities and Corporate Governance Act.
Industry and Commerce Minister Sekai Nzenza said the appointments where guided by her ministry’s focus on best practice, good corporate governance transparency and accountability.
“In decision-making, the ministry has therefore included a diversity of skills to contribute to the strategic direction of CAPS PVT (Ltd) into a formidable player in the pharmaceutical sector,” Nzenza said.
Matondo, who is also a pharmaceutical and laboratory reagents supply chain specialist has more than 20 years experience in the industry and is the current principal consultant at APOLLO-AFROASIA health in Zimbabwe and managing director of Pracon Enterprises, South Africa.
He has been since 2016 consulting in pharmaceutical supply chain management, pharmaceutical quality assurance, health technologies transfer and systems strengthening in the health sector in sub-Saharan Africa. أصل لعبة الدومينو
Matondo holds a Masters Degree in Analytic Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Applied Biology.
Board member Bothwell Nyajeka, the chief executive at Sable Chemicals, is an expert in financial aspects and holds a Masters’ Degree in Business Leadership and a Bachelor of Accounting degree.
Government also appointed Great Zimbabwe registrar Ms Sinikiwe Gwatidzo to the board.
Gwatidzo is a former acting director of information and public Relations in the vice chancellor’s office and is currently studying towards a doctorate in business management.
Another board member is Arthur Manase, the current bank secretary and director-legal services and corporate affairs at the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe.
Manase is an experienced legal practitioner who has represented Zimbabwe on the Permanent Court of Arbitration which sits in Hague from 1996 to 2013.
The fifth board member is Tapiwa Mashingaidze, an expert in chemical engineering with over 20 years of experience and is the chief executive at Chemplex Corporate Limited. كأس العرب 2022
Mashingaidze has previously worked as general manager at ZimPhos Limited, Dorowa Minerals Limited and Chemplex Animal and Public Health.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering (Chartered Engineering). كيف احصل على المال
