Ministry of Women Affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprises Development, in partnership with the National Economic Consultative Forum will host the inaugural Women Empowerment Summit and Expo
The two-day summit will run under the theme “Revitalising Economic Growth through Women Empowerment” and will use the Harare International Conference Center as the venue from 7 to 8 December 2022
“the theme was derived from the major objective of vision 20130 which aims at achieving a prosperous and empowered upper middle-income society by the year 2030 through inclusive participation and sustainable development”
“women and stakeholders will also take advantage of this platform to network, create partnerships and exhibit their products,” said the hosting Minister Hon Sithembiso Nyoni
The women Empowerment Summit’s objective is to provide for technical discussion on challenges and opportunities for women in business in Zimbabwe
The high event will be attended by Government Representatives, UN Agencies, Business Organisation / Association, Women Business Associations, Development Partners, The Academia, Civil Society, Members of the Diplomatic Corps, and the private sector
