Zimbabwe’s Finance Minister Professor Mthuli Ncube’s verified Twitter account was hacked by Kongs over the weekend
The finance boss last tweeted on the 29 of November 2022, before handing over the account to the Kongs who have been re-tweeting Baboon Business since then
“Zimbabwe is a banana republic for sure. The finance minister is hacked by Cyber Kongs and no one in the IT in government doing anything about it is monkey business @Mthuli Ncube should be ashamed of himself ” said Kuda Musasiwa
Another Twimbo mocked the Minister for watching too much porn through his Twitter account which leaves it exposed

This year alone Parliament of Zimbabwe Twitter handle account was hacked twice in April and September
Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) Chief Elections Officer Utoile Silaigwana has told parliament that there have been over a hundred failed attempts to hack into its voters roll server, a day after reporting online pressure group Team Pachedu for illegally ‘mining data from it.
According to Twitter Help Center, accounts are exposed or compromised when accessing a malicious third-party application or website
“accounts may become compromised if you’ve entrusted your username and password to a malicious third-party application or website, if your Twitter account is vulnerable due to a weak password, if viruses or malware on your computer are collecting passwords, or if you’re on a compromised network”
The Minister commands a following of 294 000 followers on the micro-blogging site
Cyber Kongs are robotic Donkey Kong look-alikes found in Donkey Kong Barrel Blast. In the game, they appear as enemies exclusive to the Cosmic Highway racetrack. They attack racers by firing bluish-white laser beams that will electrocute those hit.
Two variants of them are found on the racetrack, one small and one giant. The small ones only fire single laser beams and can be defeated in one hit.
The giant one fires multiple laser beams as well as homing missiles, and it cannot be defeated, but players can stun it temporarily by crashing into it while using a Wild Move.
