C-Trade has announced that the DPO payment option is no longer available for depositing funds on its platform. This change is due to DPO’s decision to exit the Zimbabwean market and terminate its merchant contracts.

DPO is a payment gateway which allows one to make payments worldwide in any currency.

C-Trade is the first mobile and online platform for the trading of shares on Zimbabwean stock markets. It allows investors to buy and sell stocks on the Financial Securities Exchange (FINSEC), Victoria Falls Exchange, and Zimbabwe Stock Exchange.

As a product of Escrow Group, the platform comes in as an additional channel for investors to access the Zimbabwean capital market.

Despite the announcement of DPOs exit in the Zimbabwean market, C-Trade still has other provided alternative payment methods for its valued clients. Customers can use EcoCash USD, PayNow, InnBucks, ZimSwitch Online, or direct ZIPIT transfers to their bank account.
