Chiredzi West Member of Parliament Honorables Farai Musikavanhu has donated 1200 Ballpoint pens (biro) to Chiredzi Government High School.
The donation comes as a reward after the school attained a 99,1% pass rate in the recently released 2022 Zimsec A level results
Hon Musikavanhu went on to thank President Emmerson Mnangagwa for prioritising the youth empowerment agenda
”Thank you HE President ED Mnangagwa for prioritising our Youth empowerment agenda. On 23 Jan 23 we donated 1200 ballpens: to all Chiredzi Government High School Students and Staff as a symbol that education is key to Zimbabwe attaining Vision 2030″ said the “generous” Member of Parliament on his Facebook account
Pass Rate: 99.1% which translated to 105 out of 106 pupils passed
The highest student had: 20 points whilst 8 people had 15 points and above
From 9 points to 20 points there were 85 pupils
24 boxes of pens cost $120 , each box cost $5
