A High Court judge has granted MDC Alliance MP for Budiriro Costa Machingauta, who is facing charges of raping a 25-year old Harare woman at gunpoint, $10 000 bail.
Justice Pisirayi Kwenda also ordered Machingauta to report once every Friday at ZRP Budiriro, not to interfere with state witnesses and to surrender his travelling documents. ماتشات اليورو 2023
Speaking agter court proceedings, Machingauta’s lawyer Tawanda Mujungwa said his client was categorically denying the charges as they are spurious in nature and do not hold water.

Machingauta was arraigned before the courts to answer to charges of allegedly raping a 25-year-old Harare woman at gunpoint.
According to the State, Machingauta on April 4 this year, took the complainant from her father’s workplace in Mabvuku, Harare after accusing her of stealing his cellphone.
It is alleged Machingauta drove into the Harare central business district and parked his vehicle at a Chicken Inn outlet located at the corner of Kwame Nkrumah and Julius Nyerere.
He then ordered some of the passengers to disembark and buy food at the outlet leaving him alone with the complainant.
The State further alleges that Machingauta then produced a gun and demanded for sexual favours outside the food outlet. سباق الخيل العالمي
The complainant allegedly complied to Machingauta’s demands.
